ASRB NET 2014 Exam Dates

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has announced the exam dates for combined National Eligibility Test (NET-II)/Agricultural Research Service (ARS-Preliminary)-2014 exam, which will be conducted in September 2014. The ASRB NET (II)/ARS(Preliminary) will be held duringMonday, September 22, 2014 toSunday, September 28, 2014.

ASRB NET is conducted in online mode at 23 centres across India in a staggered slot-wise examination format for determining eligibility for Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs).

Eligibility Criteria for ASRB NET (II) 2014:

• A candidate must possess a master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline and specialization completed on or before 28.12.2014.
• A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01.08.2014.

• Candidates can apply online.
• Payment can be made through debit card/credit card from any bank.
• The candidates are not required to attach copy of any of the documents/ certificates in support of their candidature at the time of submission of online application.

Paper Pattern for ASRB NET (II) 2014:

For NET (II): There will be one paper of 150 marks consisting of 150 objective type multiple choice questions to be solved in 2 (Two) hours. Each question carries one mark. These 150 questions shall be derived from the respective discipline in which the candidate has opted to appear.
